Announced a college hoops fan's dream day of basketball to kick off the new Big East's conference schedule on New Year's Eve.

For all the grief the league has gotten over the past couple of months, I'd say it's been a pretty darn good last couple of days.

The Big East is ready to roll! Looking forward to all the league sports but hoops in particular. While I hope the Johnnies pulverize all of you out there, I'll be rooting for Creighton, Xavier, Butler, The Hall, Quette, G'Town, Nova, DePaul and Providence out of conference every time out.
