1.Marquette
2.Villanova
3.Creighton
4.Georgetown
5.Xavier
6.St. John's
7.Butler
8.Providence
9.Seton Hall
10.DePaul

I see this as a rebuilding year for Butler, but I can see them competing for the title within the next few seasons. Creighton has McDermott back, so I see them putting in a good showing. Georgetown is difficult to place. They could finish anywhere between 2-4 in my opinion. Xavier is going to surprise some people. They had a rough year last year, but they are definitely headed in the right direction. 'Nova looks to me like they are ready to take a big step forward. Exciting times for the league.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

That being said, the guys who have been with this conference longer obviously know more about their returning programs, but don't undervalue the new kids either.

I'd be careful with that prediction. I have some idea of where a few teams will be. I expect Marq to be in top 3 and expect DePaul and SHU to be the bottom 2. The rest may be a crapshoot.

As of now:

1. The Nova (if you don't have high aspirations for your team, then why bother)
2. Marq (solid)
3. SJU (just a hunch)
4. G'town (will miss Porter tremendously)
5. Providence (don't know if they just have Nova's # but they looked damn promising to me when I watched them last year; young and athletic)
6. Xavier (remind me of a typcial BE team)
7. Creighton (would have been a 8-11 seed in BE last year and losing two key players; may struggle with style of play if they are true BE officials)
8. Butler (just hearing they are losing a bunch)
9. Depaul
10. SHU
Go Nova!

Probably not as much as you think considering they get Greg Whittington back who was their second best player before he became ineligible. They also get Josh Smith Ucla transfer second semester and lose nobody sans Porter..

1. Villanova
2. Marquette
3. St. John's
4. Georgetown
5. Creighton
6. Xavier
7. Providence
8. Butler
9. Seton Hall
10. DePaul

That's the way I see it, but who knows? Predictions this early are rarely correct, we'll have a much better idea after the OOC schedule. There's not much difference 1 thru 7 in this very balanced league, and #8(IMO) has one Brad Stevens as coach, that's a good reason for optimism.
