No commissioner yet is being reiterated, but I don't think any of those reporting right now know what is done or not, yet. At least the article of those two I opened said bylaws have not been drafted yet, but we had multiple sources weeks ago saying they were close to done or done. From over a month ago...

The presidents of the new league have adopted a set of bylaws "just a few days ago, and we are comfortable with those."

Katz backed up that AD's are in the dark and want a commissioner, but Blaudschun is the one reinforcing the idea that nothing is done and time is running out. Even on that clock, the article I linked points out the timeframe for the commissioner was six weeks, and that deadline is still almost two weeks from now. Just because every decision isn't public doesn't mean the conference is about the flop.

I agree that since this is private, who knows what is actually going on behind the scenes but hopefully they name someone soon because bad press doesn't help.
