Wow, A-10 is stepping it up big time. 6-0, makes the departing teams feel very anti-climatic.

Also, after watching VCU absolutely demolish their opponent and it reaffirms that we should take both SLU and VCU.

P.S. Georgetown and to a less extent Villanova, WTF?

Or go to 12 and take the 2 teams that are actually good: SLU and VCU.

Uh......no VCU.

If Shaka really is "Smart" he'll be taking the next big money offer before other good coaches figure out his fad "havoc".

Oh, too late. Beilein already did. Game today will be an instructional video on how to beat that scam.

I predict Shaka is gone to richer pastures before too long....and VCU returns to oblivion with Spike Lee no where to be found.

I will concede that today's loss was a HUGE shock to me.

That being said, they are still leaps and bounds better than Richmond or Dayton.

A-10 fans really letting the success go to their heads. Lots of hate for the new big east and some even going as far as saying the A-10 will be better than the new big east. Kinda funny when you consider of the teams having the success this year in the tourney, Temple, Butler, and St. Louis (most likely) will be gone next year or soon. Also they will be losing X who has been their best team for a while. When was the last time the A-10 has done this well to start a tournament? It is usually X doing well and everyone else taking early exits.

Shouldn't be a shock... they tried to run with a faster team... and the Kryptonite to the Havok is a point guard... Michigan not only has a good one it has two and wisely played both throughout the game. Also take into the fact that they played Michigan in Michigan and well VCU had about a 1% chance of winning that one.

I'm sure there is a little bitterness but the A-10 is a tough and gritty conference and doesnt get the respect that it deserves. The real competition with the A-10 is the MWC, who did horrible this year in the tourney. The A-10 is fighting to be the best of the rest and even with the defections and if Slu and Dayton/rich/vcu get pulled i think they should stay in that fight.

I wish the A-10 the best... on a side note my 3yo nephew picked Lasalle to lose in the finals... so go explorers lol
