It kind of sounds more like you want him to be right rather than him actually being right.
From the Providence board Boston has an extensive and excellent track record for having correct information.

FWIW - I have a source from PC who is close to the president who told me the same - St. Louis and Dayton in 2014. I was told that the presidents of the C7 received MANY calls from schools across the county expressing interest to join. But as of three weeks ago the plan was to at Creighton, Butler and Xavier for 2013 and St. Louis and Dayton in 2014. The first phase has come to fruition, no reason to see why the second phase won't either. However, since they haven't announced St. Louis and Dayton yet and since there has been interest from other schools, I suspect that it could change, but St. Louis and Dayton in 2014 is the current (three weeks ago) mindset.
did you happen to ask why they were waiting a year to add stl/dayton? what was the reasoning behind it?

UD and SLU fans - relax.

i hope you're right.

were you told by any chance why it would be setup that way? i mean if they know its SLU/dayton...why wouldnt they go ahead and either a) include them now or b) announce their intention to add both next year?

I think they have made it quite clear that they don't know who #11 and #12 is. You can listen to any of the interviews during or after the announcement to come to that conclusion.

In all honesty they have told the public that... in reality we have no clue what they do or don't know. Personally i still think they are just moving along a preagreed upon plan... just because we are not privy to the information and just because they are choosing to pass the information on to others in a controlled way does not contradict that. The only official conference they had they had a chance to give a direct answer to the 10 versus 12 team conference and they chose to answer it in the most open ended wishy washy way possible. That coupled with the comments made by several presidents of the C7 after the conference you could easily read it the other way. Obviously i've been clear that i think this has all been well thought out and any new teams have been basically predetermined. I also think that you could easily look at the information and read it anyway you want. That said you claim that they have made it quite clear... in fact they have only muddied the picture and haven't made anything clear. At this point anybody's rumor is still technically probable.
