As long as everyone comes back and everyone is eligible, X should be top 3. I'm biased though. Not to mention I cannot tell you how long it's been since X has missed the ncaa tourney two years in a row. Been a long time.

Creighton has some important losses. However, how big a hit depends on whether McDermott returns for his senior year. He will definitely declare for the draft so he can participate in the camps but if he isn't getting the word that he is a sure fire first rounder he will probably come back. Most sites have him end of first, early second so his performance at camps will be telling.

I expect Butler to finish anywhere from 5-7 in the BE next year. We will just be too young and not have enough experience. The 2014-2015 season I fully expect top three in the league.

I was under the impression that college players could not declare for the draft and then pull out? Figured once you went all in you're in.

I believe that you just cannot hire an agent to represent you.

As long as you don't hire an agent, you can declare and then withdraw before a certain date and come back. I think the deadline to withdraw is sometime in May. From comments Doug made to Jim Rome this week, I think he intends to go pro. The loss of Gibbs, McDermott and Echinique will be a lot to overcome next year.

If Sampson and Harrison return we should be a top 5 team at the very least - depending on how good Orlando Sanchez is there's a real chance we could be really competitive (deep NCAA run) If one declares and the other cant get his head straight it could be another long season for us.

One thing that's for sure is it going to be really competitive. Georgetown should be as good as ever, Providence & Villanova improve even more with experience. The three incoming teams could be in for a culture shock when they join.
We are New York's team. We are St. John's.

Is Otto Porter coming back?

Can't pick a favorite until I hear the answer.

Right now, though, even though I'm an X fan, gotta say Marquette.
