That could also be a 12 team schedule.

It's 9. It was in response to Thamel tweeting that Butler and Xavier left the A10 this morning

We already did this thread when this news came out a few weeks ago.

There will not be a 9 team league. Logistically it is a nightmare-you will have one team not playing every weekend plus fox is missing out on a ton of inventory (a 9 team league is a classic lose lose scenario). A nine team league is so logistically bad in a modern sports world dominated by TV that i would be shocked if in 2013 only 9 teams were in the league. If 16 games is true, then it is most logically a 12 team league.

16 games can be a conference schedule for almost any lineup of teams. Just because you're 10 doesn't mean you have to play a full round robin.

Maybe Creighton is 10. Was Creighton supposed to walk into the A-10 meetings and walk out with them?
