I love all the people that didn't watch but have to make their point that it was an obvious fix. How can they even think a ref would fix a game in that manner?

Probably bad form to quote myself from twitter but I'll do it anyway: Richmond just lost to Charlotte in the most absurd way to lose a basketball game possible.

Ref really could have showed some common sense and discretion there. Was in no way so egregious that the first T had to be called. From there it was only a matter of time until Mooney blew up and that's all she wrote. 8 points in 2 seconds. Unreal.

i've said it before... A-10 reffs are crap... I feel horrible for any team stuck playing in that league when all this is said and done.

Please rescue us. I have seen enough A-10 officiating to last a lifetime.

Complaining about the technical or something else? It had to be called as far as I could see.

The technical on Williams was on the edge of personal foul/technical foul. They became entangled before it was a dead ball.

I could understand one technical on Mooney though I think given the game and situation, it would be better to swallow the whistle and not call any technical. The double technical given the situation was unwarranted in my admittedly biased opinion.

You don't swallow the whistle just because it's the last few seconds. You make the call you think is proper.

For players I agree with you. But not on coaches in that situation.

MixingBowl,

After seeing it, I don't know how you don't call a tech there. I know it sucks (UD had something similar against X a few years ago), but Williams HAS to have better sense there.

It sucks man. But UD is out too. So let's enjoy the off-season together, although I obviously hope the Big East comes calling (for 13-14 of 14-15)!

Many people have speculated that the over/under line had something to do with it.
