I was not at the game, but the stats were heavy towards G'town. Shots were 14 to 9 and Corners 10 to 2. IU has a very young team, with seven of their players taking the field for the first time. Attendance was solid at 5000. IU was the preseason pick to finish 5th of the 9 Big Ten schools that play men's soccer.

Yeah would've been nice to pull off the win, but not terrible since it was the first game and @ Indiana. Will be very interesting to see if we can get a result vs. ND today.

Seton Hall (1-0-1, 0-0-0 Big East) 2-0 (R) Massachusetts-Lowell (0-2-0, 0-0-0 Am East)

Bad results for Marquette, Xavier, and St. John's who all continue to struggle.

Georgetown's 2 ties look decent after both teams beat marquette.

Creighton and Providence both had good weekends

and Butler and Seton Hall remain undefeated as well.

We have had a rough stretch so far. I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with the team. We begin a 4 game home stand tomorrow (Gonzaga, Oregon State, Drake, UW-Milwaukee). With any luck we go 4-0, although you never can tell. Fingers crossed that we can come into conference play at 5-2.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

More concerned about the Marquette women's team than the mens. The Men lost to the #1 team and a team that is one of the most storied in College Soccer at their place and they're now ranked in the top 15. The women lost to 2 unranked teams and a team that was top 25 but also lost some games so also dropped out of the polls with Marquette.
