Until, then, Title IX seems reasonable enough. I do appreciate that you know your school's situation better, though, I'm not saying I'm convinced any of you are wrong.
1. Georgetown
2. Marquette
3. Villanova
4. VCU
5. *Loyola (MD) (current associate Big East member in women's lacrosse, also private Jesuit)
6. __________?
Obviously Title IX is the given reason in the press release, but the timing is certainly interesting because the last VCU team added was in 1995 (women's soccer), coincidentally the year VCU joined the CAA...(the plot thickens).

Some of your fans might want to mix in a little modesty and respect for our program, however. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of you all telling us that we're second class, no one in the city cares about us, you sell out 500 games in a row in your fold-up bandbox, on and on and on. We've beaten you two out of the past three times we've played, in case you've forgotten. We made a Sweet 16 two years ago. I realize that you made the Final Four, but 300+ programs in the country would have loved to trade places with us.
And when it comes to this league, we have a better chance of being invited than you do. I know it's inconceivable to you to understand that, but it's the truth. What's left of the A-10 will be a fine league either way. Good day.
