Butler fans, are there any hotels within walking distance of Hinkle? I may be heading to a game there. If not, where would you recommend to stay. Will probably get Uber from airport to hotel.

When I went, I stayed in Indy. It's 5-10 miles away.

Go to St Elmo's for a shrimp cocktail and a steak.

Butler is in a neighborhood anyway. I don't think there's anything to do right there for a visitor.

No hotels in walking distance. You are probably better off as suggested above and staying at any of the nice hotels in downtown Indianapolis. Uber to the game. 10 mins. There is a bar next door to hinkle that you can post up if you come early.

No hotels right near campus. I would stay downtown. If you want a cool place to stay that's on the outskirts of downtown, stay at the hotel at Bottleworks. It's an old Art Deco Coke bottling plant that was turned into a food hall, hotel, and restaurant. There are some fun places to hang out right there and on Mass Ave within a couple blocks. From there it's probably a 10 minute Uber to Hinkle.
