Yeah, Nova was at a crossroads when this happened 10 years ago.

I opened up PM's and I wanted to share these thoughts with everyone personally. Might as post here as well:

Dear HLOH users and all Big East fans,

It was 10 years ago today (Dec 22, 2012) that we started a message board for the C7 (Catholic 7) schools as we anticipated possible college basketball conference realignment. There was much speculation at that time, and within months, the Big East remade itself as a basketball focused power with 10 conference members (C7 + Butler, Creighton, and Xavier).

As a result of the rapid developments in conference realignment, this message board quickly became The Holy Land of Hoops. Paying homage to our past while praising our future, fans from 10 schools have met here for the last decade to discuss all things relating to the Big East Conference. An 11th school has since joined us and we anticipate a day when additional schools may also be included in our number. No matter what your relationship is to a Big East member (past, present, or future), we thank you for your participation!

Many thanks to our contributors and moderators who have been instrumental in making this the best basketball conference message board on earth (our opinion). As we embark on another season of Big East conference play, we hope that you will visit us again and join the discussion.

We wish you a Happy Holiday season and thank you again for being a part of HLOH!

Thanks to all who run the site. It has been a dream come true for Bluejay fans to be a part of this. As said by all, this board is unique and I like to read the input from others perspective. It's been a fast 10 years. Good luck to all the rest of the season.

Its's now been 11 years since we created this board on a whim, with a hunch that the C7 would break away and form something new, and we wanted to have a place for everyone to talk about. It is amazing how time flies.
