Villanova - 2H/3A so far, so will almost certainly get a home game
Providence - same as Nova
Creighton - 3H/3A, Creighton asked nicely to play @Ok St in exchange for an extra home game
DePaul - 3H/4A, needs a home game to make it even

Xavier away - 3H/2A so far, so will almost certainly get a road game
Georgetown - same as X
Butler - same as X
Marquette - 3H/3A, B10 wants Marquette, so they get Texas at home

It's a lot less clear on the B10 side, with the exception being Michigan State almost certainly getting a home game. Maryland@Nova looks feasible, but who knows.

Thanks for the insider’s info… so Creighton is trying to get a home Gavitt game by going on the road for the B12 battle? Didn’t know it works that way. Last year our annual Husker game was made into a home Gavitt… this year we play in Lincoln so I’m imagining the Jays want a good home OOC game and as usual the Jayhawks dodged us again. Notice how they play our best BE teams at home every time? Or opt out? KU knows how to work the system at all times… I hate them for it but you gotta respect that as well.

Obviously not an insider and that was guesswork on my part, but mathematically we're going to have 4 teams with uneven home/away splits in the Gavitt games (down to 2 if DePaul ends up playing 8 times). I'm also running with an assumption that no team agrees to going on the road for both Gavitt/Battle in the same season, as it has not happened even once so far. That leaves Creighton, DePaul, Seton Hall, and SJU as the candidates to host 2 remaining Gavitt games (Nova and Providence being first two), and my guess is that both conferences would prefer Creighton.

Kansas has already visited Villanova and SJU, so I don't think they're necessarily dodging anyone. It would be their turn to visit if the Battle happens in 2024.

*EDIT* One factor I didn't entertain, but wouldn't be surprised by, is if UConn is included in the Gavitt slate. They'd most likely get a home game in that case, perhaps replacing DePaul.

With kind of a big night right after the CFP is announced on that Tuesday. When some start to turn their focus to college hoops.

In the article from the Big East on it, that's exactly what's happening.

This is great. Feels more like a conference challenge now that they are tightly scheduling.

Should be a fun week between the top college basketball conferences
Stony Brook Red, Connecticut Blue, and Big East basketball!

The two conferences with 4 of the last national champions. Pretty remarkable.
