Providence heading to the Bahamas along with Kansas State and Miami for something called the Baha-Mar Classic - a few miles from Atlantis.

That reads like a Murderer's row, sans Syracuse & Chaminade. I believe I read in Creighton's Blue/White review that Xavier might be in Savannah, like the week before Thanksgiving? I think this one is a relatively new tournament.

Looks like a thing called the Hostilo Community Classic. Only other team in there so far is Georgia.

Fellas...big time hoops coming to the backyard. This will be the second year of the Hostilo (a local plaintiff attorney/advertising machine) Classic. The inaugural one had James Madison, South Dakota State, Valpo, Mercer, Evansville, Robert Morris, Towson, and Coastal Georgia (non-D1...all the big schools in Georgia were already committed elsewhere). It was not a tournament, per se, as the schedule for the 3 days was set, regardless of outcomes.

I am happy to know X might come and will definitely increase my interest level (after going to Maui last year, the charms of KC in November didn't resonate with the Mrs.).

This was my hope when we opened a new arena one year ago. We have minor league hockey, better concerts, and now holiday college hoops. If anyone makes the journey to Savannah, be sure to hit me up for eat, sleep, drink advice.
