Seton Hall is just below the cutline and some teams above them have already lost this week. This is a great opportunity to jump up into the field. Of course, any game versus a top 4 team is going to be a major challenge, but it will be interesting to see if Seton Hall can pull this off. They're also fighting with UConn for a first-round bye and are only half a game ahead at the moment.

Yeah, their schedule is too daunting. However, Dawes has become nearly unstoppable and Holloway has them showing some Peacock toughness. DO NOT want to see them at MSG.

This is a huge week for them. They got this and then at Nova. I think they need at least a split to feel somewhat good about things- as if they lost both to get to 15-11, they'd have 5 games left- Georgetown win but then needing to go 2-2 with @ UConn, Xavier, Villanova, and @ Providence. That's pretty hard. A split this week would really make it needing only 1 of those last 4 games to get to 18-13.

creighton has a lot riding on this one as well. Can't see us coming out flat. Should be an exciting game.

Marquette got caught in a buzz saw last night. I have some worry that Hall is going to be similarly amped tonight and things might go sideways for the Jays.

So far, they've beat all the teams they are supposed to beat but they've also lost to all the teams they're supposed to lose to. The losses vs. Providence and at Xavier, though, were by a combined 7 points. Oof. Here's another week where they probably aren't favored in either game (since Nova is on the road) but if they can snag a win, it would be huge for changing the narrative.

I don't have high expectations for this one. We just don't have anyone big enough to guard Kalk 1 on 1, so it's pick your poison between letting him go off or doubling him and leaving a 3pt shooter open. The first time we played CU, our defense pretty much got stuck in the middle and let both happen. Best chance is probably to double him and hope for a cold 3pt shooting night (though the Jays rarely seem to have those against us).

Those are definitely rough right now. Both times, SHU had the ball with the shot clock off and a chance to tie or win.

Biased perspective here, but I’m not a fan of Hall’s “make it ugly” brand of basketball.
