Personally I think that the Jays have a couple more losses awaiting them in league play. Games at PC and Nova are tough and homes games with Marquette and UConn still too. Plus you could always have a bad night at Wintrust ala XU.

Who are the 2 losses you see coming their way? I think they’ll lose to Providence although I expect a very close game that the Jays might well win. Otherwise I think they’ll be favored in all of their other games. They’ve been playing really well. With Kalkbrenner back in the lineup they have a 6 game home winning streak.

No doubt Creighton is going to pile up wins in the lead up to MSG...doesn't really matter how many. However, I see UConn making a similar run....could easily take out CU at the CHI. I safely predict they end up in the top 5. AND...Villanova IS NOT going to end up 8-12!!!

BUT, that "scrum" in the middle will likely have Nova, SHU, SJU playing on dreaded Wednesday. Does Justin Moore's return have Villanova poised to get the 6? I think it does, and likely plays the #3 on Thursday.

Man, slugging it out to a #1 or #2 is paramount....I do think the #3 ends up with VU and the 4-5 will be absolutely brutal regardless. Prediction- 15-5 is top of the mark now (see below) for my Musketeers....will that be good enough for a top 2? Only if the inevitable tie breakers are favorable.

the problem with Nova doing much more than 4-6 the rest of the way is the schedule. 7 Q1 games and then the 3rd "easiest" game is home vs Seton Hall. For Nova to avoid being 7th, they probably would need to sweep Seton Hall. Otherwise Seton Hall should have 3 wins outside of Nova, and that gets them to 10 wins.

Anyone else sick of hearing "Joey California"? It seems to be enthusiastically mentioned multiple times on EVERY broadcast....nearly every time he touches the ball. It gets a ridiculous amount of run for a guy that is barely serviceable in this league. It is more annoying than the Colby Jones " Swiss army knife" reference........fortunately that went away.
