DePaul announces that assistant coach Tim Anderson has decided to leave the program to "spend more time with his family and focus on his passions".

Probably means that Top 75 HS Senior Ahamad Bynum will ask for his release.

At this point, it's easier to list the players on the roster who haven't entered the portal:

Javon Freeman-Liberty
Markese Jacobs
David Jones

...and that's it. DePaul still waiting to hear from two HS Seniors who signed LOIs... Brett Hardt and Kok Yat.

Gonna be a whole new roster next season.

Moore to Miami FL.

Former Oregon guard Jalen Terry has chosen to transfer to DePaul instead of Mississippi State.

For what it's worth, current DePaul roster:

Returning:
Javon Freeman-Liberty
Markese Jacobs
Courvoisier McCauley
Nick Ongenda
David Jones

Newcomers:
Ahamad Bynum - 6-2 guard from Chicago Simeon. Top 100 recruit.
Tyon Grant-Foster - 6-7 forward who is a transfer from Kansas
Brett Hardt, Jr - 6-3 combo guard from Phoenix Prep. Unranked.
Jalen Terry - 5-11 point guard who is a transfer from Oregon
Brandon Johnson - 6-8 forward who is a transfer from Minnesota

Hearing that DePaul is looking for one more guard and another big. There are reports that they've reached out to Michigan State transfer Rocket Watts, as well as Milwaukee's Te'Jon Lucas.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they lose another player or two or maybe even three off this list.

Maryland basketball assistant Bino Ranson is leaving for an assistant coaching job at DePaul, sources close to the situation told InsideMDSports.

It's a surprising departure by Ranson, the longest-tenured member of the Terps' staff. He's been an assistant at Maryland for 11 years, including one under Gary William and 10 under Mark Turgeon, and has been consistently outspoken about his state pride -- head coach Mark Turgeon once called him Mr. Maryland" -- and his home city of Baltimore. DePaul offered Ranson a significant pay raise Maryland couldn't match and left on good terms with Turgeon, a source said.

Huge get for Depaul:

He was Turgeon's recruiting ace in Baltimore, where he landed players like Jalen Smith and Darryl Morsell, but he also was the point man in the signing of Wisconsin five-star center Diamond Stone -- the program's highest-rated signee in years -- Wisconsin standout James Graham, Canadian star Justin Jackson and numerous others.

Marquette took Turgeon's other assistant DeAndre Haynes as well. That and we were able to keep Alan Huss from taking the Illinois assistant job and got Ryan Miller from TCU (who just got Arthur Kaluma for us). Nice to see Big East keeping and getting quality assistants.
