Quite a few Wednesday/Thursday games
Coach Al Mcguire:
"I like seashells and balloons, ribbons and medals, bare feet and wet grass."
"When I'm losing, they call me nuts. When I'm winning, they call me eccentric."
"Queen of victory, pray for us."

If this doesn't get you excited for Big East basketball, I don't know what will.

Effectively Depaul got erased from the rivalry game day.

Guess the way the numbers came out two teams couldn't be included so Xavier and Depaul were left out of it. Definitely a little disappointing from an X fan's standpoint but oh well.

Exciting stuff. 2 notes personally as a Xavier fan.

1) We have a very hard schedule to start: St. Johns, Butler (meh), Marquette, Creighton, Georgetown
2) 3 home games in a row?? Is that normal?

Yeah but you guys have Villanova at home for your last game that should be a very exciting last game.

Just for agument's sake, you do know Milwaukee is a 15 minute further plane ride than Chicago, right?

I'd drive. Not fly.

So 30 minutes further then with no traffic but since there is always traffic in Chicago effectively they are just as far maybe Milwaukee is closer(by time) if you do the drive in rush hour. Allstate arena sits in an area of extreme traffic in Chicago right by O'hare so there is traffic 24/7 here it always takes me at least 45 min to get through this area even at times outside of rush hour.

Side note if you do go Omaha to Milwaukee in a car I recommend taking the US-151 route its about a 7 min longer drive(I mean like practically the same amount of time) but you see some very scenic landscapes which makes the drive easier and there are no Tolls as you don't go through Illinois. (I do this drive at least 4 times a year take it from a pro)

Johnnies have a great conference schedule with great times. 15 conference games on Fox Sports 1, 2 on CBS Sports Network, 1 on FSN National. We will see Georgetown, Nova, Quette, Creighton, Butler, Xavier and DePaul at the Garden. Seton Hall and Providence will be on campus. I really like this schedule a lot.

I drive those areas a lot for work. I would drive instead of fly because I could visit work accounts along the I-80 corridor. :D

Plus, I'm not likely to go watch my Jays lose in Milwaukee. I've been to too many Jays away games over the years to know not to go to places where we have a chance of losing. I enjoy trips much better if we win. Not that DePaul is easy by any means but you get my drift.
