Big East Conference schedule - thoughts and reactions

Postby JohnT » Thu Sep 05, 2013 10:51 am

I wanted to start a new discussion just for reaction to the schedule release today. Knee jerk reaction - who's is front loaded, back loaded, long road trips etc.

Really holding out hope that Creighton @ DePaul is on a weekend. It is the only away trip I will be able to make this season and the closest for any Jays fan (located in Omaha). If it is on a weekend date, I would anticipate more Creighton fans being there than DePaul fans. But that's just a guess.

Just for agument's sake, you do know Milwaukee is a 15 minute further plane ride than Chicago, right?
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Yeah I must say Creighton is the only Road trip I have planned yet.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that every school will play each other twice this year. :P

Couldn't resist. Seriously though, I can't wait for the schedules to be released, that we I can start planning road trips.

per Georgetown's AD Lee's twitter feed, Big East Commissioner Ackerman is on campus today.

I assume this has something to do with the schedule release today.

She's been touring all the schools since being hired. Maybe she will incorporate something with the schedule, but she'd have made that trip sometime soon, regardless.

It's now 1:03 cst and no schedule. I suppose it makes sense with how everything else has been.

Building anticipation?
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.
