If this is true, sounds like Time Warner might be the only holdout. With the CBS debacle and now this, it would be bad publicity for Time Warner.

As a Time Warner customer I'm ready for this to be over with. As a fan of Big East basketball I'm in no rush, but as a UFC fan I'd like the launch to be on schedule. Plus the sooner an agreement is reached the sooner I can turn off ESPN for good.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

LA times now reporting that FS1 has made deals with DirectTV, Dish and Time Warner. Great for the Big East and Creighton, all our games are gonna be available to everyone!

Great to see. I'll be watching this weekend to see what the product is like.

I thought they would reach an agreement however I don't believe the agreement is favorable to Fox, maybe a notch above Speed but not what they were asking. TWC may have made some concessions based on increases tied to ratings, that's the best guess I have.

Anything tangible to base this on or is this just more of your Big East hatred?

What team do you root for anyway, UConn?

It's a pretty reasonable guess, if you ask me. What is more important to Fox right now, carriage or profit? It was over negative to call it not favorable to Fox, who hasn't hid that they're willing to lose money on this venture for the time being, but I can't say it would surprise me if the prices were only a modest increase over SPEED. If the negotiating was amicable with no extension of a deadline, it couldn't have been terribly unfavorable from Fox's perspective.

my use of the word favorable is within the context of my previous stated opinions, which address $ per subs and if or if not a deal would get done. Fox was getting .23 per sub for Speed and were asking .80 for FS1 and escalating in out years of contract. Word is they might have negotiated up to .60. With as quickly as the negotiation went with all 3, TWC, Dish and Direct it was easy to draw my conclusion.
