Nick Noskowiak committed to Marquette today. The 2015 G was prioritized by Buzz Williams in Dallas this month.

Really excited about the potential of this guy. Nice pickup for Marquette.

Just saw paint touches tweet. Could be more excited for Nick to be joining us in 2015. Crazy to think Derrick wilson will have Graduated by time he starts though.

Nice get by Marquette, I know Creighton was very high on him.

The scouts at dunkdog think a lot of Noskowiak & they say so on their list of top 2015 PG's:

"Marquette Strikes Early

The number six spot among point guards is currently claimed by Nick Noskowiak, a 6-foot-2 guard out of Wisconsin whose reliable play has shot him up the charts. Marquette got the job done early on this one and landed a commitment that should stick.

It’s a significant pledge simply due to Noskowiak’s ability, but the lack of top-tier talent in the group makes it even more valuable. Quality point guards will be difficult to come by for high-major programs on down in the 2015 class, but Buzz Williams and the Golden Eagles’ staff appear to be one of the first to have solved this problem.

With the lack of top-tier firepower in this group, high-level programs will surely try to lock up 2015 lead men as soon as possible. Marquette, Ohio State, Gonzaga and New Mexico already capitalized on Nick Noskowiak, A.J. Harris, Jesse Wade and Jordan Hunter, respectively."

Offered by Xavier and Creighton now. Article out today pretty much says that he still likes Marquette, just wants to make sure Wojo sees him play and still thinks he's a good fit for his system. Still think Marquette is the favorite here.

That cracks me up. Apparently the other midwestern Jesuit schools are thinking, "hey he was going to enroll at one of our brother institutions, why not us?"

By the way Marquette, we at Creighton would love to have Sandy Cohen too, if you would be so kind as to grant him his release...
