The senior is the top uncommitted wing in the state. We caught up with him to discuss his recruitment beginning with his official visit to Creighton over the weekend. “It was pretty good. I liked the team and the campus. I really like the team. They are together like we are at Morgan Park. I really like them.”
He likes their style of play. “They run. They shoot. They are real long. They play defense like my style of play.”
The coaches said they see similarities in Cunningham’s game to their current star. “They said I play like Doug (McDermott) the coaches son. He is versatile and can go down to the post and shoot. He can play defense and pretty much do everything.”

Hopefully the attitude will last at least through the non-conference schedule. I'm hoping for cordial interactions between fans even once conference play starts. I'd like to think that we can be competitive more like sibling rivals than hated foes.
I am with ya in the hope that we can keep this place classy. But even if all falls apart in conference play, this has been the best sports talk forum I have ever been associated with. So much so, I actually will not be surprised if we keep the tone civil while being competitive in-season.

I'm guessing that even though Cunningham & LG3 are listed as SFs that Creighton wants both 6-7 swingmen.

I mentioned it was down to Xavier and VCU earlier this week so considering he hasn't visited VCU there could be some good news coming on the Xavier front.
