5 Teams Recruiting their way to Contender Status

Short article that list five teams, 3 of which are BE teams (SHU, Prov, X), coming up on the national scene via new found success on the recruiting trail. I also think Creighton could be on the verge of national notoriety in a similar way if they can add a pair of strong recruits to go along with LG3 next year.

Nice article. What will be interesting is that it's going to take some time for Xavier, Creighton, and Butler to brand themselves as Big East schools in regard to recruiting. Xavier is already landing top 100 recruits and have been doing so for a while (Top 20 recruiting classes in 2012 & 14). With that said, I can't wait to see what Xavier does in a few years on the recruiting trail.

It's good to see not every writer is football obsessed: "you can’t really call those schools mid-major anymore though, especially Xavier in the Big East".
So far the touted selling points of an urban basketball-centric conference seem to be producing beyond anyone's expectations.
