Freshman Madeline Mosher put a stamp in her collegiate debut with the match-winning kill as the Marquette University women's volleyball team got the 2016 started off on a high note with an upset victory over No. 7 USC 3-1 (16-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-22) in the season opener on Friday evening.

Sort of an embarrassing start for the Jays dropping a 5 set match to former league foe Wichita State after taking each of the fiorst two seats 25-21. Road game today at Iowa State before heading out to USC.

Jays roll through the Big East tourney again. CU at #13 RPI entering NCAA tourney.

Jays kinda get screwed and do not get to host but instead will travel to Kansas and play UNI in the first round. Marquette is the other Big East team to make the field and will play Washington State in Madison.
