We're going to learn a little more about just how well this Xavier team is coming together this evening. Appears as though limiting the turnover count is key.
Pitino had recruited Sean Miller to Providence, but Sean ended up at Pitt. Interesting connections.
Speaking of Providence, impressive showing last night, and one hell of a home court advantage.

Honestly it's tough to win on the road so Marquette or UConn losing isn't very shocking. I think Nova win is the most surprising result so far.
And how da F do we have wins over Creighton, UNC, Memphis, TT, and Maryland, but go winless in big 5. Thank God we didn't play LaSalle this year, or we'd be sitting on 5 losses now.

I wonder what the odds would have been that this year’s projected “Big 3” (Marquette, UConn and Creighton) would all start the conference season at 0-1?
I still think they are the 3 most likely to win the regular season title but it’s going to be a cRaZY season!

I was at the game so I’m not really sure what happened but as explained on the post game, on CUs final possession the refs stopped play with 3 seconds remaining to check for a shot clock violation while Baylor Scheierman was making what would have been a game winning three pointer?
