Big 5 changes

Just saw this from the Athletic-
Under the new format, the six schools — the traditional Big 5 teams of La Salle, Penn, Temple, Saint Joseph’s and Villanova, plus Drexel — will be split into two three-team pods.
The pod teams will play each other in November, with the winners matching up based on their record in a tripleheader (a designated fifth place, third place and championship game, if you will) at the Wells Fargo Center on the first Saturday in December.

So for Nova it's now only 3 games instead of 5.

3 games tied up instead of 4, so a small improvement. But it's really 1 road game instead of 2, I feel like this is an acceptable compromise. Hopefully the tripleheader isn't monetized to be split evenly.

I'm ok with this. I was always in favor of some sort of 6 team tournament (having added Drexel), but was told that would take the place if the holiday non conference challenges.

Be interesting to see how they do tie breakers
