My 0.02:
The Johnnies had a decent season going 16-11 and finishing 4th in the league. I really like what I see out of Posh and I think he's a star in the making. Champagnie has always been an excellent player and he'll only continue to get better. Mike Anderson has a couple nice pieces to build around for the next few years. Though I'm not terribly impressed with this recruiting class. Anyway, Johnnies should be a competitive team next season!

Hard to get too excited for next year yet until all of this transfer-mania stops. If SJU is able to retain the “core 5” (Posh, Champagnie, Williams, Wusu and Earlington), then I think we’ll be ok. No indication that any of them are leaving but it’s a weird year so you never know.

A dream scenario would be Julian’s brother Justin ditches Pitt and comes to SJU to play with his brother for a year.

SJU needs Alexander and Champaigne to return that is their core.

They are. As is Wusu who was a nice freshman for us as well with some potential.

Honestly I could be totally wrong but I think those two JUCOs Cole/Moore are the only departures.

St John’s needs to play the free transfer market and find a big who can protect the rim and rebound. they probably need to find one extra shooter as well. But they aren’t far off from being a tournament team if they can fill out the roster around Champagnie and Posh

Was a good year, but for the first time in a long time there is an actual structure in place to continue to grow and succeed.

Champaigne declared to "test the NBA waters".

Vermont transfer Stef Smith is headed to St. John’s.

Should be noted: Smith has shot 42% from 3 in one season. Also lit us up for 17 pts last year when we lost to Vermont. He's an immediate upgrade over Dunn.
