Finally an "official word". Creightons fan can exhale a bit. This is a huge honor and opportunity for Creighton.

Momentum is growing. I suspect we will hear an announcement on teams and commissioner mid-next week, just in time for it all to be discussed during the Big Dance. Won't hurt to have Creighton, Marquette, Georgetown, Villanova, and Butler playing in the Dance, at the time!

It is great to be apart of this Powerhouse conference...the new big east will be closer and become better than what it was at it's best....like minds create wonders...go jays!!!!

Multiple coaches from the new league had told ESPN.com that the new Big East would play an 18-game, true round-robin schedule in 2013-14..
