New here. Good site. I've enjoyed reading and thought I would share what I heard this morning from a source who is closely connected to the Providence family. He said the current proposal being discussed tomorrow is to add Xavier, Butler, and Creighton. SLU and Dayton are also likely to get offers but not 100%. With the legal issues don't expect this to be in place for next season, but probably 2014.

I can't wait until an announcement is actually made! My productivity has been down ever since the c7 schools announce their departure, because I am spending way to much time reading about what will happen.

XU, Butler, and Creighton are definitely the three best programs being considered. Makes sense and I'd love to see it.

I was told the schools joining have been informed of the invite so they can plan their exit strategies from their current leagues. I don't think they will say anything until the spokesperson appointed for the new league tomorrow make his statement.

There are people with real inside info that are disclosing the Big East will diffently go to 12. The poster who stated Xavier, Butler and Chrighton is spot on. However, there is talk that Gonzaga and perhaps memphis will round the last two spots instead of Dayton and St. Louis. I guess the Big East is weighing in on Memphis true plans. If memphis is a no go then look for Dayton to get the invite.

Memphis? Wow they don't fit the profile at all. What would they do with football?

Memphis is interesting cause their football is so bad there is no way they get invited to acc or any other BCS conference.
