According to CBSsports.com & 247sports.com, Marquette wins the Big East 2013-14 recruiting battle.
Personally, I really like Butler's class.

SJU at #7, yet bringing in the top recruited player. That sounds off... Would also like to see them factor in transfers, Juco's, etc. EG- J Smith at Gtwn might make a huge impact. I'm expecting Dylan Ennis to be our best new player this year. Who does everyone have coming in outside of recruits?

PC has 6'8" Rodney Bullock from Virginia coming and also 7' Carson Dersosiers (junior) transferring from Wake Forest and 6'9" Tyler Harris (sophomore) from North Carolina State both eligible this year. Harris in particular is really going to help, he is only 20 years old and has been a star at both Kevin Durant and Lebron James's skill academies recently.

How much of Butler's class is going to stay? Marquette hired from within last time but we still lost a bunch of recruits that year (Tyshawn Taylor, Trevor Mbakwe, Scott Christopherson).

Checked out the team recruits per 247sports... They only have 2 listed commits for SHU (Sina & Wilbut) when in fact we have 5 commits (Jaren Sina, Hakeem Harris - JUCO, Stephane Manga - JUCO, Rashed Anthony, Jerron Wilbut) and 1 Transfer Eligible next year (Sterling Gibbs - Texas Xfer)

The Johnnies had just one spot to fill so even though they got a high recruit, he was the only one.

Well, in this world of immediate satisfaction, who knows with any player? When the transfer rate mirrors the divorce rate, I have come to expect a "class" to change over the course of the 4 years, even at Butler.

All Butler players and incoming recruits have stated that they are staying. But it's a long time until tip off. The Bulldog's 2013 class is OK, not stellar. Berry is solid, but not in the Howard / Hayward class. They got a PG in Castro they desperately needed last year, but he is a freshman and will take time to mature. Brown will play some off the bench. Chrabascz is a wild card, could help immediately or could take some time.

Yeah, the highest too! It'll be interesting watching him and MU Frosh Duane Wilson go at it. Johnnies got the highest rated player but Marquette took the next 3, all top 60 RSCI and Duane was a late boomer.
