Quick thought on Creighton...

When the A-10 added VCU and Butler, why do you guys think they passed on Creighton? Honest question.

I have no idea if Creighton was discussed or even contacted, but I doubt Creighton had any interest in joining. Selling the C7 to administrators, coaches and fans would be much much easier than Fordham and Lasalle.

If I remember correctly a while ago Creighton was looking to switch conference and it was close to a deal to join the A-10 or something like that and then they snubbed Creighton. So the relationship between the two is not so nice.

I'll clarify.

Some Creighton fans wanted to make the move. The administration and athletic department, including the AD, never wanted to move. Story over. Creighton was never passed over; the powers that be at Creighton never even wanted to go.
