Everyday I come on this site, I keep expecting that the other shoe is going to drop and I will find the usual sports board flame throwing has started on here. So far it has been a tremendous surprise. I have to think once the season starts it is going to be a little less civil. But who knows, the folks on this site as is have set a very high bar. Perhaps the Big East will be known not only for high caliber basketball but the best fans as well.

This seems to be a good idea to have a forum for Big East run by Big East fans. BBF's not a bad site by any means, but there's still some sniping between Big East fans and a Dumpster Fire that shall remain nameless. I think it would be cool to get both sets of posters together, but probably a pipe dream to be named later.

Y'all have done well here.
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.

The idea of trying to resurrect a different board that has zero activity is silly. You can tell the mods here get it and I like that its only a Big East board so we don't get any drivebys here from non-BE guys.

I don't have any trouble with it remembering me. When you login click the log me in automatically box and that's all did and it works.

Darn those non-BE guys. Actually i post on both sites (as that is the only A-10 site i know of). I prefer this one. I go by my previous statement that this is the best college basketball conference site on the net. The volume of traffic says it. I have no problems with the navigation or posting. While nothing is perfect our admin has shown a constant desire to monitor and update the sites. IF anything he should be looking to expand to add other conference boards not looking to fold into another site.

In all seriousness the board is well self policed, has only a minimal amount of troll action and the emoticons are better.

LOL Holy land of hoops forever :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

There's no sigs here? Then what's that below my posts? (vv that way)
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I've seen the jpeg signature become heavily abused, if that's the case we need a disable signature box.... lol and while we are at it admin... a lobster dinner and a case of beer for every poster on every 100th post

This board perfectly fits what I want in a conference board. I like that it's run by fans of the league and not like a very small portion of a larger business. I'm really looking forward to the season starting to see if we can get some more of our Nova fans here to contribute. Keep up the good work guys!

This option is available, FYI:
User Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit Display Options -> Turn "Display Signatures" off.
The admin can also prevent certain posters from using a signature if necessary.
