It doesn't seem like Creighton's year to make the tourney. I expect they'll end up in the NIT because they'll lose a horrible game in a horrible way down the stretch.

That's pretty wild the difference for Marquette.

You can tell Palm is 100% banking on RPI type of measurement with Providence. He is one that despises the other measures. Why he is such a bad one now in days- pretty much the worst one of all of the big ones.

So looked at the Bracketmatrix- from yesterday
8 Villanova 2.79
16 Providence 4.59
21 UConn 5.60
22 Xavier 5.68
24 Marquette 6.28
35 Seton Hall 9.34
45 Creighton 10.58(4th team in)

At least Palm stands out from the crowd. One of these years if the committee relies less on predictive algorithms, Palm will win big.

yeah but the trend for sure has been more and more predictive. I don't know that will be changing.

so just looking at Bracketville- this would be the path for the 7 teams right now-
Seton Hall 8 E vs Miami, Auburn in Greenville
Villanova 5 E vs Iona, Michigan St in Pittsburgh
UConn 7 E vs Loyola-Chicago, Duke in Greenville
Xavier 5 W vs North Texas, Illinois in Portland
Creighton 10 W vs Indiana, UCLA in San Diego
Providence 4 MW vs Furman, Ohio St/Murray St in Buffalo
Marquette 4 S vs South Dakota St, Alabama/Drake in Buffalo

Jay Wright vs Rick Pitino 1st round? Wow that'd be fun. With Izzo for the winner?

Possible 2nd rounds with
Seton Hall/Auburn
Nova/Michigan St
UConn/Duke
Xavier/Illinois
Creighton/UCLA
Providence/Ohio St
Marquette/Alabama

As long as the Jays make it I don't really care about seeding. I just want to see Ryan Hawkins get a shot at the big dance.
