Not exactly directly basketball related, but the hoops programs are tied to the schools:

It was announced today that Xavier just received a $50 million gift from - wait for it - a Notre Dame grad.

For the most part, everyone on our board is cautiously optimistic, but not many are predicting a regular season Championship. IMO the only way that happens, is if Nunge is healthy for all 20 conference games AND can exceed last years production.

Even with all the hype, I think X matches up well with CU and has an overwhelming experience advantage. However, if Whitmore ends up doing what I think he willl.....yikes! And someone will have to figure out how to limit the devastation that Sanogo will inflict.
