Will Porter and McDermott both go pro? if one returns, he will be the preseason MVP for sure.

This summer's draft will be one of the poorest on record. It will be followed, next year, with an absolutely stacked draft.

Anyone with any sort of pro thoughts you can go out should, they'll be higher now than ever after. There has actually been talk of Cody Zeller moving from a potential Lottery Pick this year to outside the 1st round in next year's draft.

Cody Zeller may drop from 1st round this year to undrafted next year. He's not good, but this draft class is weak.

Most of this year's class is going to go for that reason. So I'd assume Doug and Porter would take their talents to the next level.

If you need more time, you need more time. Leaving before you're ready just to beat a good class could kill your chances at an NBA career. Maybe it'll pay off for one season, I suppose.

Storys are coming out that Vander Blue could head to the draft this year too:

Would be a lot of losses for the conference.

Would certainly be a hit for the program, but we do have good pieces coming in next year. I think he would benefit from another year in school, maybe improve his outside shooting. Eh, what do I know?
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I know less than you, probably, but I think he'd be stupid to leave early. His projections are weak, and if more keep leaving early it's only going to get worse for him. If this is a weak draft class and he's projecting second to out, he's in for a rude awakening more likely than not. The NBA isn't going to baby him in just because his draft class is weak. He's got to come back for a good shot at the NBA, if you ask me. Maybe it doesn't pan out, but coming back at least he has a shot to be the star of a big time conference. Raising his own profile and growing as a player will help his chances at making it regardless of class strength. If he thinks he's topped out this year and next year offers nothing but risk? Well, he'd better stay because it might be his last shot at big time stardom.

Blue jumping just sounds ridiculous. If he does it I hope he has some awfully good information that someone wants him in the first.

Couldn't agree more.

I think DMD has this one locked up! This is big for the new BE and Creighton.
